@mckinley@twtxt.net That may be true. I tried some “decentralized exchanges” but I have issue with “trust” so this is proving to be quite hard to figure out how to support accepting XMR as a “payment method” 🤔
@prologic@twtxt.net Is it really banned? I thought the regulators just pressured the centralized exchanges to delist privacy coins without actually banning them outright.
So turns out the following are banned in Australia
DASH, XMR or ZEC.
On my way to install PC DOS 7 in QEMU … which isn’t particularly a no-brainer because of IBM’s XDF floppy disks. I’ll get there eventually.
@prologic@twtxt.net I’m glad that this stats view is actually useful. :-)
@prologic@twtxt.net I concur. This little community of ours is here because of you, and I’m very grateful for that. :)
I got an e-mail today about my Linux notebook reaching end of support, yada yada yada. It mentioned that with the new stuff Okular will be able to sign PDFs. Never ever had to use that, but maybe some Linux user finds this information useful.
@bender@twtxt.net Thank you ! 🙇♂️
@prologic@twtxt.net I know it is often those who can’t code the ones more vocal. As I endeavour to improve my overall behaviour, and approach to all things in life, please know that I am grateful for what you have done, and continue to do, on Yarn.
Looks like his feed occasionally has problems too :/
@bender@twtxt.net Agree maybe it’s time to rethink the data stored here, I’ve been leaning towards this anyway over the past year or so.
I dunno what to say, but the Twt @movq@www.uninformativ.de replied to #cjlg4da
just isn’t there. I can see it in @johanbove@johanbove.info ’s feed
$ ./yarnc stats https://johanbove.info/twtxt.txt | grep cjlg4da
1 : (#cjlg4da)
But neither my pod nor the search engine ever ingested it. Hmm? Without modifying the tools I’m not even sure which Twt it was.
From Libera’s #crypto channel, “Cryptography theory and practice, not cryptocurrency (try ##altcoins – or better yet, just don’t)”. Hahahahahaha!
@movq@www.uninformativ.de Yarn’s caching is the bane of an otherwise decent thing. Wish it was sqlite driven, or something like it. No caching, just “there”. 🤣
@bender@twtxt.net It’s still there. 🤔 Maybe @prologic@twtxt.net’s cache exploded. 💥
@bender@twtxt.net Oof, okay. Guess I got lucky then. Never had to use any of those features. 😅
Testing 1… 2… 3…
Hmm… are replies broken?
For some reason I can’t reply to the original twt (https://twtxt.net/twt/lwb53ba). Deleted?
@movq@www.uninformativ.de if you are referring to Adobe (I had to go check Johan’s raw feed), I don’t think many other do digital signatures, and deal with fill-in forms. I have a Windows VDI at work for two exclusive purposes: Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat. LOL.
@johanbove@johanbove.info Is there any reason to use this program? I can’t remember when I last had it installed, must have been early 2000’s.
@prologic@twtxt.net let me give you my very personal advice, using the Queen’s language: stay away from all cryptocurrency shit. 🤣
Not having a great experience with Acrobat Reader. What the heck is Adobe trying to achieve with all of these popups and annoyances?
@darren@twtxt.net The few always spoil it for the many 😢
I agree with your sentiment 👌
