In-reply-to > @ullarah I always go out of my way to opt-out of any data collecting thing they try to push and use a WinOptimizer (from Ashampoo) designed to block and sabotage as much telemetry as possible, in hopes that it at least gives me some level of anonymity. But I know the average user doesn’t even read those things and just clicks "Next" until Windows setup finishes with the default options - to track everything. just because the majority of people live in a ‘technological dystopian’ future doesn’t mean you have to. You can also explain to friends and family about freedom of privacy and that they still have a choice of what they can use. Be the change you want to see in the world by starting with your choice of technologies.
