I am for nearly anything that takes social media out of the hands of the corporate silos and returns it to the actual participants, doubly-so if it doesn’t swap the silo for something crypto-based, And the simpler the implementation is, the more likely that people will actually implement all of it (/me glances sideways towards ActivityPub).
