Once again it paid off to always be prepared when going into nature. This time the bags brought home the bacon. Well, apples. We ran across windfalls and picked up a bunch. Soon to be processed into apple juice and jelly.

The heat wave is finally over. It lasted about 1.5 months. 🥵 Now we’re back to somewhat mild temperatures (17°C) and a bit of rain. Went on a walk earlier today, which was super relaxing.
Big trees have survived, but you can tell by the “grass” how much everything else has dried up.
Oh thank god. It’s cloudy today, finally. And only 21°C (so far). What a relief. This heat was getting unbearable.
