(#5jejozq) @firstname.lastname@example.org @email@example.com @firstname.lastname@example.org is not a big fan of vaccines AFAIK. I’m vaccinated. Romania has about 32% vaccination rate, which si the lowest in Europe I believe. I believe it’s a bad idea.
We might have early elections in Romania because of the prime minister failing to get the vote of the Parliament.
The Shtepper is a web-based visualization tool for symbolically running POSIX shell scripts. While available online, you can also run a local version of the Shtepper using the smoosh-web Docker image
This is the best we have
(#g7q6dbq) Would be nice to develop a fat shell with the standard utilities built-in for performance reasons. I wonder if you could run busybox someway like that.
Any of the standard utilities may be implemented as regular built-in utilities within the command language interpreter. This is usually done to increase the performance of frequently used utilities or to achieve functionality that would be more difficult in a separate environment.
(#ndck4vq) @email@example.com It would be as safe as shell script under CGI, it could be done in a safe matter. Put it under a chroot and it’s safer. Didn’t get a chance to build anything with it lately. It would suffer from the same problems as CGI in general (slowness).
Ok, was temporarily banned on https://tildes.net/ because I said “they don’t need to escape” on this thread https://tildes.net/~health/yv0/thousands_of_people_are_trying_to_leave_qanon_but_getting_out_is_almost_impossible
@firstname.lastname@example.org (#zva4kjq) I was talking to a girl over Tinder 1-2 months ago that the most boring documentary to put you to sleep would be one about a single cricket. Only one! The whole documentary. He would be walking, jumping and chirping.
Food for observation
Very well said!
I just explained how understanding works. 😋😎
Understating is done tru observation, hence effortless. Only when there’s effort there’s “lazines”
Problem is, makers stop releasing updates which forces users to upgrade, at least to another entry level phone.
I’m not 100% sure it’s planned obsolescence but chances are pretty high it is.
Here’s a good video on the topic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5v8D-alAKE
(#z23znmq) @email@example.com Depends on what you understand by lazy. I don’t believe bloat is consequence of laziness, It’s a consequence of misunderstanding. Understating is done tru observation, hence effortless. Only when you add effort there is “laziness”.
(#z23znmq) Faster is not necessarily better.
In The Anti-iPhone Linus argues that you don’t really need a flagship phone for everyday use, I believe that’s the future for computers also. We’re building faster CPU’s to run bloat.
(#b7einla) @firstname.lastname@example.org Ah, you have an older model. The RPi2 4 also recommends a 3A one https://www.raspberrypi.com/products/type-c-power-supply, so you must have an older model. No reason to change if it works.
(#b7einla) @email@example.com Would be nice to! I would also like one, can’t afford it and they’re also out of stock due the silicon shortage. I’m considering repairing one of my old X220t in the meantime. I ran OpenbBSD fine on the Pinebook, it works great if all you use are terminals.
