In-reply-to > @ullarah, this line on 01-pico.css is the one adding too much space in between lines on lists: ul li, ol li { margin-bottom: calc(var(--typography-spacing-vertical) * 0.25); } If I remove that, lists look perfect.

@fastidious @prologic If this is what I think it is then it’ll be an override. It’ll definitely be a matter of taste for sure. We can set a baseline of what it looks like default on pods but this is again why we have custom CSS to subtly change appearances on pods.

In-reply-to > @ullarah, but why wouldn't animated GIFs not work while inline? Is it the processing being done whilst uploading the image? That (processing) was the issue before, and the reason I opened issue 560 over two months ago. With so much work done to show images in different ways, is there a reason this hasn't been addressed yet? What say you, @prologic?

@fastidious we’re getting there! Hahaha. Patience is key 👌

Plus IS560 was before my time 😅

In-reply-to > @ullarah I always go out of my way to opt-out of any data collecting thing they try to push and use a WinOptimizer (from Ashampoo) designed to block and sabotage as much telemetry as possible, in hopes that it at least gives me some level of anonymity. But I know the average user doesn’t even read those things and just clicks "Next" until Windows setup finishes with the default options - to track everything.

@thecanine just because the majority of people live in a ‘technological dystopian’ future doesn’t mean you have to. You can also explain to friends and family about freedom of privacy and that they still have a choice of what they can use. Be the change you want to see in the world by starting with your choice of technologies.

In-reply-to > I've (sadly, I know) been pulled back to Reddit by a neat app, and, well, I had no idea just how much effort folks are now going to to stage stuff for views; really a step-change (at least!) from when I was last exposed to public videos regularly.

@jlj I know it’s Apollo right? 😂

@thecanine but… why should you need to rely on a 3rd party application to disable apps and potential features through registry hacks and local group policy settings?
