@bender@twtxt.net That’s the best one of them. An almonds cake with hazelnut chocolate glaze. The one in front is similar, but with chocolate only. Gingerbread on the right. But it develops the best flavor and consistency only in a few weeks, right now it’s quite hard like a rock, but it will soften up.
All those years I always said that my teammates are THE VERY BEST I ever had. Fuck me, look at that, I didn’t leave the company, just changed projects and this is my farewell present:
How absolutely beautiful is that, I’m in awe! Now I feel even worse deserting. :‘-(
This emblem is the fleur-de-lis of the world scout movement: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Organization_of_the_Scout_Movement#WOSM_emblem I reckon I must have mentioned casually that I’m a scout. ;-)

@movq@www.uninformativ.de Yeah, I certainly had better ones. :-D Despite I can already laugh at the hot chocolate spill, I’m still assimilating the clamp failure, though.
Fuck me! I made a giant mess by knocking over the fresh cup of hot chocolate. I completely soaked my desk, t-shirt, pants, socks, house shoes, seat pad, chair, footstool, chair mat and floor. Showering beforehand was well worth it. :-D Let’s see where I will locate the smell of spoiled milk in the next days. Maybe underneath the baseboard? I’ll take bets.
At least my aiming skills are pretty good. I missed keyboard, mouse and other electronics.
I had Chick-fil-A breakfast today (sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit, hash browns, coffee, and orange juice). Then at lunch my work place offered hot dogs. I had two (kosher, if that matters), plus a coke, a macadamia nuts cookie, and a small chocolate brownie.
So, here I am, at home, feeling hungry but guilty and refusing to eat anything else for the rest of the day. To top it off, I have only clocked 4,000 steps today (and I don’t feel like walking). I am going to hell, am I?

Hearts can be seen everywhere when Valentine’s Day rolls around—from romantic cards adorned with hearts to heart-shaped chocolates and candies filling stores. Below, you’ll find a few morbidly fascinating funerary practices, […]

** week notes **
I’ve been experimenting. I’ve been concocting a recipe for vegan kugel, and rediscovering little features and edges of my website I’d forgotten I baked in. Like chocolate chips hidden in an oatmeal raisin cookie.
One chip most recently re-discovered: support for per-page custom styles?! All I gotta do is include an optional bit of meta data, bespoke-css, that points to a style sheet. I may play with this feature more. I do love myself some css. I can tell exactly when in my life I added this feature because th … ⌘ Read more

Chocolate and skumtomtar (literally “foam santas”, a marshmallow-like candy) are awesome. They’re even better with tea. And that combo becomes at least twice as good after a run, shower, and shave. True story.
One step forward: skipping the extra quesadilla at lunch. Two steps back: supplementing lunch with the entirety of a milk-chocolate bar (960 calories) that was at the absolutely most perfect temperature, and washing it down with about a cup of milk, maybe more. One step forward: burning 800 calories by walking an hour on a treadmill.

The Chocolate Imbecile
I can’t get it out of mind. How a person can be so idiotic? The major of New Orleans, Ray Nagin said, among other things:
