For this week’s #Caturday, I have an image that requires a bit of backstory…

Shortly after Emperor Maximilian I retained us as his caretakers (over 8 years ago), we would often return home from our travels to find a handful of pairs of socks scattered around the floor, typically taken from our son’s sock drawer (which was usually overflowing and therefore often left slightly open). We weren’t sure if it was Max (as he was not the only cat in the house) until the day we came home to find this:

The cats don’t actually care much (since they’re cats), but Princess Peaches is prone to bouts of extreme jealously, and has been giving me the side-eye for sharing pictures of the cats rather than her.

I say the world needs both more princesses and more Peaches! 😄
