@mdom@domgoergen.com, @dave@davebucklin.com, @kas@enotty.dk I agree with the âno max length; show at least 140charsâ idea.
What about benaiah first idea for #issue48? It would be easy to parse, looks very unixlike and doesnât clash with the current syntax? I would implement it for txtnish, if it wouldnât be the only implementation⌠:)
@kas@enotty.dk Ah, #txtnish just dumps the latin-1 on your terminal. Not sure what i should do about that, but itâs probably okay. But itâs a good idea to test that!
Maybe it would be a good idea to point new users to reednj, we-are-twtxt or irc. Some set up a twtfile and arenât sure about the next step.
I though about ix.io, any other good ideas?
Does anybody has a good idea where to do some promotion for twtxt? A subreddit or online community i havenât thought about?
@freemor@freemor.homelinux.net Let me know if you have any good idea how to solve that. You probably need two files: your plain twtfile and a signed one in your docroot.
The user interface is not perfect, if you have any idea how to improve, iâm all ears.
@freemor@freemor.homelinux.net Okay, i admin, i have no idea what a TZAG is? And thanks for the great link about CloudFlare! MITM on 5% of the webâŚ
@dracoblue@dracoblue.net Iâm not sure if iâm ready to document the streaming interface, iâm still playing with different ideas.
@mylesb Nice idea!
@dracoblue@dracoblue.net Sorry, but what tweet are you referring to? I have no idea what sounds great⌠We need a way to reference tweets!
I think we sometimes forget that even with all the advanced web technologies, you can still share your ideas with a simple text file.
@kas@enotty.dk Great Idea! I wouldnât worry about the file size. Content-Encoding gzip should get you a very good compression rate.
Or we can use it to refback. Every time you mention somebody you send a HEAD with your twturl in the referer to her adddress. Any ideas?
Does anybody have a good idea for a default color set? I used the first color that crossed my mind, so the default theme is rather ugly.
We just started to watch The West Wing a week ago. No idea how I could have overlooked it for 17 years, itâs so good!
I had an interesting idea. What if you mashed up tor hidden services and @twtxt?
Coding while suffering a hangover is a bad idea
Nix logo
Long overdue, the Nix project finally has a logo!
The logo was originally created by Simon Frankau for the Haskell\⨠logo competition, who kindly gave us permission to use it
for the Nix project. (The snowflake motif is even more
appropriate for Nix, because nix is Latin for
snow.) Any further modifications are entirely our
fault. â Read more
