Peter Saint-Andre: Cultivating Curiosity
In my drive to hold fewer opinions (or at least hold them less strongly), for a while I tried to cultivate a healthy skepticism about things I believe - for instance, by attempting to question one opinion every week. This didn’t work, at least for me, because it felt too negative. Instead, now I’m working to cultivate curiosity. Here are a few thoughts on the process…. ⌘ Read more

Important notes for LARBS users
Two notes for LARBS users:

  1. Xorg went through some updates last week that changed how it calculates dots-per-inch (DPI) on screens. There’s a chance that you might update and find your font extra large or small. I’m getting back into running after a couple of weeks downtime. My left knee is not what it used to be, and I’ve decided to ease back into it. Mentally I’ve accepted that I’ll probably never run 10km in 37:42 again, but emotionally I fear getting slower… As if a slight decline, while saving myself from injuries, would be a defeat.
