Ignite Realtime Blog: Openfire 4.5.6 is released
Openfire 4.5.6 has been released, that addresses an annoying issue that was affecting the earlier 4.5.5 release. We’ve updated the bundled log4j library to version 2.17.1 for good measure.
The changelog denotes the two Jira issues closed by this release. You can find Openfire build artifacts available for download [here](https://github.com/igniterealtime/Openfire/rel … ⌘ Read more

Peter Saint-Andre: Meditations on Bach #9: Musical Monadology
In meditation #7 of this series, I took note of some similarities between the aesthetics of Aristotle and the music of Bach. Another intriguing influence might be the monadology of Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz (1646-1716), who directly influenced philosophers and musical theorists in the Bach’s orbit: for instance, Bach’s student Lorenz Mizler (1711-1778) was a follower of the Leibniz scholar Christian Wolff (1679-1754). In chapter 5 of his book Music in the Culture of th … ⌘ Read more
Local man switches to Arch, tells no one
Yesterday, at approximately 5:05pm, a Seattle area man installed Arch Linux on his home computer and has yet to tell anyone. “This appears to be the first occurrence of failing to tell someone that you run Arch,” stated a representative of the Seattle Sheriff’s Department. “We are actively investigating whether or not this is a crime. It definitely is a violation of norms.” ⌘ Read more

My nutritional supplements aim should be:
- 1 or 1.5 cups of lentils (or any beans you might like better).
- 2 or 2.5 cups of bitter greens.
- 1 cup of your favourite protein (or an egg), grilled, or fried with a little of olive oil.
- 1 or 2 tomatoes, or a handful if of the cherry type.
- No added sugars. If it is sweet, make it have fibre.
- No added salt (or very little and ionised), as salt is everywhere.

@movq@www.uninformativ.de what is your cron job repeat time for jenny? Currently I have mine to every minute, and while it allows me to participate fairly quick on conversations it has some drawbacks: it captures every single edited twt, so I end up with seemingly the same twt, but not quite—as it has minor edits, etc. So, “repeats”. Perhaps setting cron to check every 5 minutes or so is best?
