Well, it was not a proper fix, more like a duck-tape mend, the right thing to do is to add a BSD branch and fix the calls to BSD’s awk and fmt so they produce the data in the way the rest of the code expects it. #txtnish #gnu #bsd

I have trouble with a web crawler using the TOR network. It’s misusing the gopher proxy on my page. I don’t want to disable/block tor (that would be the easy way out). It’s permanently changing user agents and ignoring robots.txt. It ignores HTTP status codes. I’m currently serving it 4MB binary garbage in form of Link. It sucked in about 40GB of data now, but it doesn’t explode and keeps crawling. Any other idea about what to do with it?
Made my own super basic twtxt client in 3 lines of code as a bashrc function. #l33t
added paragraph blocks and code blocks to weewiki HTML output. things look decent.
Voidcall – Making Of
Like last year with Underrun, I participated in this year’s js13kGames – a JavaScript game development competition with a file size limit of 13kb, including code, assets and everything else. My entry was Voidcall, a Real-time Strategy game.

been messing around with the fonts in my terminal… ‘source code’ and ‘input’ are two i’m trying to decide between
@ckipp@chronica.xyz @neauoire@wiki.xxiivv.com Glad you like my little experiment! I’m tweaking it daily, I’ll try to release the code properly once it’s clean enough.
I loved coding ToH, I want to write more database-less websites/services
I made a lot of external mentions so #hallway is getting some code to filter them out :P

Since it’s friday, if I have the energy, after work I’ll stream my final push on finishing implementing MfoM. Y’know, in case anybody wants to watch me write ‘code’ that’s actually mostly dialogue.

Re: code – keep throwing it away and rewriting from memory until implementing it doesn’t seem like a big deal anymore. At that point, it might be marginally OK. (Or maybe you’ve just acclimated to your failures.)
