事实上半固态电池由于其能量密度没有本质性的提升，依然没有摆脱锂离子电池固有特性，其存在仅仅是因为全固态的技术并不成熟而出现的中间技术。所以我认为半固态电池充其量只是改良。

钠离子由于构成电池的钠化合物本征稳定性更好，在热失控过程中很容易发生钝化失活的现象，因此很难引发严重的热失控事件。此外，钠离子电池可以耐受很大的过冲和过放的特性，这些特性同样来自于钠离子电池化学体系的稳定性。这就对钠离子电池的控制安全敏感性带来非常大的便利。钠离子电池在商业上在过去几年最大的优点是钠元素在地球的储量，是锂元素的350-430倍，而且分布更加合理。所以钠元素的价格更加稳定。在2021年后碳酸锂价格快速上涨，并在2022年达到40万以上之后，钠离子电池的研究重要程度就引起了大家非常大的关注。
