我首先想到的是Matthew Wong，一名如生涯如流星般短暂的加拿大华裔画家。
准确的来说，我提名的不是他的任何一幅画，而是他本人。Matthew Wong，中文名王俊傑，于1984年出生于多伦多，7岁时搬去香港，15岁回到多伦多。他2007年于密西根州立大学安娜堡毕业，专业是文化人类史学。2012年于香港城市大学毕业，攻读的是摄影。
但是他并不认为摄影能完美地表达他所想的，于是他早在硕士期间就开始尝试了绘画。他将中国传统的抽象水墨元素和西式的油画结合在了一起。他的作品有着克里姆特和席勒的装饰性图案感，也有着自学油画前辈亨利卢梭的平面感，有着马蒂斯的多彩，也有着中国画的含蓄。
可惜，他在于图雷特综合症斗争了一生后，终于2019年35岁时自杀身亡。当时，他被艺术界认为是一颗冉冉升起的新星，可却在他如火箭般上升的时候，他的生涯截然而止。
