因为引起螺蛳粉的臭味物质和便便的臭味物质并不是同一个。而猫对诸如螺蛳粉、榴莲等有特殊气味的食物出于嫌弃，可能会有“埋屎”行为，并不一定是认为你在吃屎。
便便的臭味是由粪臭素（3-甲基吲哚）引起的，存在于哺乳动物的粪便中，为色氨酸在消化系统中的产物。
而螺蛳粉的臭味是其中的配料酸笋发出的，近两年对广西酸笋挥发性成分的研究中发现：
1、酸笋的主要气味成分大致有10多种，主要气味特征是酸味、酸臭味和刺激性气味以及发酵香味；
2、对甲苯酚和乙酸是主要的气味成分。

赫鲁晓夫楼 1960s-1980s先来看看赫鲁晓夫楼（khrushchyovka），一部分对苏联不熟悉的人可能对于这个名称觉得很迷惑，赫鲁晓夫楼来源于当时领导苏联政府的赫鲁晓夫Nikita Khrushchev，是苏联第七任总理，在斯大林之后担任。
而苏联开始大规模建造这种楼是由于二战后，苏联面临严重的住房短缺问题，很多城市在战争中受到重创，并没有足够的住房来安置战后迅速增长的人口和由于城市化而来到城市的居民。

这里先从传统西藏方向进出京古道说起。
北京往来新疆西藏等地，传统上以兰州-包头-张家口等地为落脚点，于是北京-张家口这段路就必然往西北方向走。
选择这条路线的优点很多，一是利用永定河和黄河的山水之势，过太行山到坝上草原、河套平原和河西走廊，沿途一马平川，没有高山大河了，一天内能加急赶的路比走内地省份要多。二是蒙、藏、回这些游牧民族的物产、文化、生活习惯都很相似，聚居迁徙的路线都在这一带。商贸人文交流比较便利。最后这条路线经过的关隘比较少，少进城少收税，且沿途几个落脚的重要城市之间都大约是300-400华里的距离，官方的馆驿可以保障日行千里。商队的马帮驼帮带个三天左右的给养就可以很安全地行进，沿途水草丰美，粮草补给也有保障。部分路段甚至有季节性水路可用。
