1 - constitucionalidade da eutanásia: #AntónioFilipe e #JorgePinto de acordo de que a lei só precisa de ser bem regulamentada.

2 - convergência à esquerda: ambos são candidatos diferentes, haver diversidade deixa as pessoas votar quem melhor os representa. Também aqui consenso.

3 - AFilipe é um candidato de esquerda sem coisinhas, JPinto é de esquerda europeísta. A diferença é de forma ou de conteúdo? Em termos de conteúdo é que o Livre elegeu Von Der Leyen, PCP não - mas as críticas são todas as mesmas… Até que JPinto me desaponta, a dizer que AFilipe não condena a invasão da Ucrânia pela Rússia (que é mentira, e ele sabe). Tática eleitoralista e provavelmente ganha-lhe votos (e interrompe a demonstração de AFilipe de que a sua posição em relação à Europa não é o papão que lhe daria jeito), mas é a primeira vez que o vejo a ser intelectualmente desonesto.

4 - pacote laboral: estão ambos alinhados.

Considerações pessoais: um dos debates entre dois dos que acho “bons candidatos”. Foi elucidativo e um bocadinho surpreendente - deixou-me sabor amargo a forma de fazer política de JPinto, a colar ideias a António Filipe que sabe não serem dele, mas que lhe dá jeito se as pessoas acharem que são. AFilipe pode ter menos preparação mas tem + honestidade.

Moderador diz “então e a pobreza”? Cotrim acha que isso se resolve com crescimento económico (como se isso alguma vez tivesse reduzido desigualdades ou pobreza). LMM diz que o crescimento económico vai ajudar (tb não explica como) mas que é preciso mais - componentes sociais. LMM critica a proposta de IRS de Cotrim (IL). Cotrim diz que um jovem em Portugal entra no mercado de trabalho e passado quatro anos está no escalão máximo de IRS… Claramente ele vive num Portugal diferente do real, e os jovens com que ele janta são de uma elite bem exclusiva… sobrinhos de CEOs, suponho. Mas LMM em vez de apontar o ridículo do que Cotrim disse, fala em vez disso de Cotrim querer a CGD privatizada. Moderador avisa que a maioria dos jovens recebe menos de 700€/mês

0 - Há uma pergunta mas #LMM diz que responde a tudo mas primeiro tem outro tema obrigatório: a acusação de #Cotrim Figueiredo há 15 dias de LMM ter feito pressões, pede a Cotrim que concretize - Cotrim não pode ou consegue, tenta atacar LMM noutro tema com um book review, a dizer que LMM vai lançar um livro que é pior que o livro que Cotrim lançou - isto não se inventa. De certa forma isto influencia o debate porque quando o jornalista pode então fazer perguntas já não fala do que queria falar, e em vez disso pergunta o que distingue as candidaturas deles e voto útil e essas coisas. Cotrim responde que ele é o mais energético ou qq coisa dessas, mas em prática só diz que vai jantar com jovens mais vezes que LLM. 12 minutos de debate e ainda não se disse nada - mas só menos mostra bem que entre estes dois há claramente um menos sério que outro. Cotrim critica LMM estar no Conselho de Estado há tantos anos e Portugal está cheio de problemas - pena que LMM não diga a Cotrim que foi deputado e eurodeputado, e Portugal e Europa estão cheios de problemas também…

Cotrim diz que a CM está a esconder que quer Portugal fora da NATO, e que Cotrim acha que estar na NATO é a nossa única garantia de defesa, e que por isso é importante gastar 5% em defesa como acordado. Day 2 was pretty tough on my old hardware. Part 1 originally took 16 minutes, then I got it down to 9 seconds – only to realize later that my solution abused some properties of my particular input. A correct solution will probably take about 30 seconds. 🫤

Part 2 took 29 minutes this morning. I wrote an optimized version but haven’t tested it yet. I hope it’ll be under a minute.

Python 1 feels really slow, even compared to Java 1. And these first puzzles weren’t even computationally intensive. We’ll see how far I’ll make it …
