Mathieu Pasquet: slixmpp v1.12
This version is out mostly to provide a stable version with compatibility with the newly released Python 3.14, there are nonetheless a few new things on top.

  • Bug in MUC self-ping ( XEP-0410) that would create a traceback in some uses

@prologic@twtxt.net Germany was listed as ā€œopposingā€ on https://fightchatcontrol.eu/ for a while, now itā€™s back to ā€œundecidedā€. According to netzpolitik.org, itā€™s still debated. Also according to that page, there could be an important vote on the EU level on October 13/14.

The green party and the (far) left are opposing this (at least in Germany). Sadly, Germany is leaning more right with every year ā€¦ As for young people: The (far) left is the strongest party among young people, with the (far) right being the second strongest one.
