To birds, airships and planes are dumb and rude the way they interrupt conversations with their droning, however they often wonder what these large birds would tell them if they ever spoke
In the last two weeks the company laid off two of the programmers. Which is crazy since we are just about to embark on a huge system conversion.

And still, she walks besides you but as outline now - dirt on a wall and gaps between cars, wind in grass and cloud formations, stray words from other conversations that somehow form sentences

@tdemin@tdemin.github.io good points, though another that I’ve noticed is that it’s difficult to tell who in your network is actually reachable with your tweets. My HTTPS cert went unupdated for a brief while and now I have no idea who is still following me since I got it working again, so it’s difficult to tell where I can really have a conversation. A centralized service can tell who’s following who, but that’s basically impossible in twtxt.

The immortals have IRC channels, founded hundreds of years ago, in which a conversation takes place maybe every 30 years, a sort of entmoot

Steal everything
“Nothing is original. Steal from anywhere that resonates with inspiration or fuels your imagination. Devour old films, new films, music, books, paintings, photographs, poems, dreams, random conversations, architecture, bridges, street signs, trees, clouds, bodies of water, light and shadows. Select only things to steal from that speak directly to your soul. If you do this, your work (and theft) will be authentic. Authenticity is invaluable; originality is nonexistent. Our College is trying to re-design. Our web manager has been assigned to some other project of more importance (Dean’s order), so he can’t tackle the conversion of the existing website to a full blown CMS driven one. Other than the locals we have seeing and sit through presentations and proposals, I sent emails –very brief ones, but to the point– to Dan Cederholm, [Dan Bejamin](http://www.hivelogic.com/ “Da … ⌘ Read more
Do not phone and drive
It infuriates me the idiots who think (and insist) that driving a car while talking on their mobile phones represents no problem for them or those around. Well, it does, fools! I have done it, I confess –although I have stopped doing so for a while, unless it is a real emergency– and I know what I am talking about. A driver handling a phone conversation while driving is impaired. It is!
So, for the stupids out there still using their mobile phones to keep their idiotic conversat … ⌘ Read more
