[WTS] [~0.37 XMR] Lenovo ThinkPad Carbon x1 gen2

Laptops are in good condition, battery can last several hours still, biggest defect is the Touch Bar (which includes the F1-F12 and media keys) is turning hazy and is not cosmetically pleasant. Touch Bar and thus keys all still work. Each laptop has a valid Windows 10 keys but I can also install Ubuntu or Debian upon request.

  • For @<nick url> we already got support
  • For @<nick> the posting client should expand it to @<nick url>, if not then the reading client should just render it as @nick with no link.
  • For @<url> the sending client should try to expand it to @<nick url>, if not then the reading client should try to find or construct a nick base on:
    1. Look in twtxt.txt for a nick =
    2. Use (sub)domain from URL
    3. Use folder or file name from URL

I was bemoaning the lack of color at my desk and a friend sent me this link to a place that makes custom neon signs. I am likely much to indecisive, and faaaar too cheap to actually order one, but I keep having intrusive thoughts about what I’d get if I were to get one.

[ANN] MiCAR and the Monero Ecosystem

The European Union’s Market in Crypto-assets Regulation (MiCAR) comes into full effect on December 30th 2024. All ‘new’ obliged entities (crypto-asset service providers, token issuers, custodial wallet providers, stablecoin operators, etc) must be fully compliant on or before this date. Already existing crypto-asset service providers have until 1st July 2026 to demonstrate compliance and obtain their operating licence through their national competent authority, or cease operating/trading.
