While reddit is trying to kill itself – the CEO doesn’t seem to care much about the community (but I don’t really care about the topic enough to know for sure) – I think Lemmy is a nice alternative. Quite minimalist, but fast, has an app that isn’t cluttered with ads, and relies on ActivityPub to federate with the Fediverse.
