woke up exhausted and felt it the entire day. broke the run up a bit with a mile on/off intervals. the faster pace felt good but towards the end of each i could feel the fatigue accumulating. fucking humid with none of the expected rain which was a disappointment.

SPRF Half Marathon: 13.24 miles, 00:09:44 average pace, 02:08:59 duration
started off slow partly due to congestion but also not wanting to push too hard early on after some good sessions the previous day. kept it pretty constant around 9:45-10:00 miles. starting at mile 7 i felt like i had enough in me still to keep it casual but at a slightly faster pace around 9:30. breathing was great, nothing ached, and just pushed through for a great long run session. honestly, this weekend was great.

Grand Canyon Rim To Rim: 27.90 miles, 00:28:36 average pace, 13:17:46 duration
grand canyon rim-to-rim with kelly and craig. it was a blast! a lot of firsts: crazy elevation, head lamps, poles. i had a really good time and then we started to encounter some elevation. definitely could feel the altitude as soon as there was an incline. then after so many large steps up my quads started to feel it. at one point everything seized up and i fell down. luckily craig jumped in my leg and started stretching it out which helped a lot. the rest of it from there it was slow going but only once the large steps were sparse we cruised ahead. definitely would do it again.

I’ve perceived an increase in the number of newborn nodes syncing the blockchain from my nodes. Maybe after the Chainalysis video showed the privacy risks of using remote nodes over clearnet, more people are setting up their own nodes.
