Can we just use RICO to put Larry and Sergey in prison? Like, they literally discussed actively ensuring to move conversations applicable to litigation holds to places with history off regularly to avoid being caught violating the law. The entire company is a criminal conspiracy. https://techcrunch.com/2023/03/27/epic-games-produces-documents-in-antitrust-case-showing-googlers-avoiding-its-litigation-hold/
@prologic Was about waves of spambots.
@farbel @Riedler All servers will probably deal with some manner of it eventually. This is only the beginning. (Not that I suppose OP will see this comment.)
@eevee The most maddening thing for me, is there‘s no good way to find the last commit a file existed. Because you can’t select it after it‘s deleted, but if you jump back to a commit you know it exists, you only see commits prior to that point.

@prologic Side note, I just edited the above post for clarity, and I don‘t know if you’ll see that or not!
@shanselman @atomicpoet I do. I want people to be able to get any content they‘d expect to find through other social networks through the fediverse. That includes PR.
A big part of ensuring we replace old social is being able to meet everyone’s needs.
@bensaufley @paul There‘s been a lot of loud drama about defederating mastodon.social, but I haven’t seen anyone of substantial size or following that‘s actually done it.
I think it’s rumored much more than done. There were a lot of rumors it was unmoderated or only moderated by Gargron as well, and that has been widely debunked as well.
@prologic I‘ve been following your posts over here for a bit. First time I got mentioned across it though, I think!
@prologic I am! How‘s it going?
