@mdom@domgoergen.com if you can read this my bot works with #txtnish. :D
@mdom@domgoergen.com found it: formatter=cat 😃
@mdom@domgoergen.com is there a way to prevent txtnish from inserting linebreaks within the tweet?
Just stumbled upon http://ikeaordeath.com/ again. Had totally forgotten about this. 😁
I think I’ll checkout #txtnish this weekend. It’s syntax should work with my bot ootb.
@leo, @reednj_tw@twtxt.reednj.com: I had to remove your accounts to stop twtxt from crashing. Don’t know why. :-/
Does anyone else gets a crash wenn doing ‘twtxt following’? https://files.mdosch.de/2018-04/following.txt
@leo@server.gkbrk.com where are all these accounts on server.gkbrk.com coming from? Is there an Webinterface or something like that?
@roka@server.gkbrk.com, @ocean@server.gkbrk.com, @ivesen@server.gkbrk.com, @nekoinemo@server.gkbrk.com, welcome to twtxt. 😃
@karen@server.gkbrk.com Welcome to twtxt. 😃 I recommend twtxt.xyz and #we-are-twtxt for followers.
But in the long term I want to get it automatically reconnect.
Just added a workaround to it to crash if connection is lost and let systemd restart it.
@kas@enotty.dk, @freemor@freemor.homelinux.net (re: Matrix/TOX/P2P): Uh, never heard of #rumble or #scuttlebutt. Will have to look into it at some time.
@kas@enotty.dk @freemor@freemor.homelinux.net I’m not convinced of P2P for messaging as it usually drains the battery of your mobile.
@kas@enotty.dk @freemor@freemor.homelinux.net Me prefers #xmpp too. My tests with #matrix and #tox were all unsatisfying.
@demifiend@www.matthewgraybosch.com @freemor@freemor.homelinux.net If it is a problem on other platforms to be bullied by William Shatner we should market #twtxt with #NoWilliamShatner
@demifiend@www.matthewgraybosch.com welcome to #twtxt
Seems my bot works more stablesince switching #xmpp lib from github.com/processone/gox/xmpp to more active fluux.io/xmpp
@freemor@freemor.homelinux.net Now I see your tweets again. Maybe deleting the cache helped.
@freemor@freemor.homelinux.net Somehow I don’t see your tweets after 2018-03-16 in the client although i updated your url. @buckket@buckket.org a caching issue maybe?
Pushed my #xmpp #twtxt bot written in #go to Github: https://github.com/mdosch/goxtxt
Uh, thought I made a mistake while adding more functions to my bot but actually it is the default twtxt client crashing when doing a unfollow. :-/
@freemor@freemor.homelinux.net @dave@davebucklin.com thanks. :) But now I have to investigate why the bot refused to work yesterday evening till I restarted it. ^^
And an example configuration file: https://files.mdosch.de/2018-03/config.json.example
If anyone wants to have a look (and suggest a good name :D): https://files.mdosch.de/2018-03/goxtxt.go
Finally I can use twtxt from my mobile. :)
Wow, that worked! O.o I am surprised. :D
If you can read this I made my first twtxt post by sending a message to a xmpp bot. :)
Unbelievable! Germany beats Canada and goes to the finals! #Miracle of #Pyeongchang! Go for gold!
Google, please don’t! (although I’m not using gmail) https://www.blog.google/products/g-suite/bringing-power-amp-gmail/
@leveck@leveck.us, I just use the standard client (wrapped in a local script for tweeting).
@leveck@leveck.us, I often use twtxt.xyz but when I am at my laptop at home I use the client as I have my terminator always opened.
@kas@enotty.dk joined the #twtxt #xmpp room and doubled the amount of users. :D xmpp:twtxt@chat.mdosch.de?join
@kas@enotty.dk, but I don’t know about #bornholm. Maybe you mistake me with someone else?
@kas@enotty.dk, sure you can. But so far I am also not overactive here. :D
@robbinaer@robbinaer.info, ok I think it’s normal for such a nerdy microblogging tool to be rather quiet.
Hello twtxt, anyone here?
Anyone had success doing A/V Calls via Nextcloud Talk on Android?
Re #twtxt #xmpp muc: It seems there is a #matrix and an #irc room but no xmpp which I would prefer. sigh
Is there any #twtxt #xmpp muc? If not, I set up (an still empty) one at xmpp:twtxt@chat.mdosch.de?join
My #searx is no proxying images per default (proxy works now, no more status 500): https://search.mdosch.de
Just updated my #debian #dnscrypt blog post (german): https://blog.mdosch.de/2017/07/07/dnscrypt-in-debian-einrichten/
@robbinaer@robbinaer.info My first impression of Fx57 isn’t that bad. Although I am still missing some AddOns.
Is it still working after transfer to different machine?
@freemor@freemor.homelinux.net I’d really like to know how you managed to use twtxt via XMPP. 🙂
