Made a fair amount of progress yesterday in the little Grav CMS learning project I’ve been working on since last week. I’ve never been entirely satisfied with hosting axodys.com on Blot.im and am ready to shift back to something I fully control and maintain. Blot is a great boutique service and has really cool integration with DropBox/Github/Google Drive but I don’t really like any of those options any more because they make mobile updating so fiddly.

Having Stage Manager on my MacBook unexpectedly grab the mouse and keyboard from my desktop is a complete trip! I’ve used it with my iPad Pro before, but I had no idea it was on and even possible with my iMac.

On a whim popped onto Mastodon a few minutes ago (probably hadn’t checked in about a week) and felt kind of underwhelmed. There was definite overlap with RSS- I think I generally prefer that kind of stuff in NetNewsWire so I just need to clean up my subscriptions.

Finally taking some time to dig deeper into working with Docker this week. So many potential applications for work and hobby projects.

Continuing to find renewed happiness in RSS and NetNewsWire Pro. Having iCloud syncing just work is a big deal.

Younger kids managed to completely lock up their old iPad 3 by getting available storage down to 0. 16GB is so comical these days. We got it working again, but it took more time and effort than I would have preferred.

NetNewsWire has been working out pretty well as my primary news source over the last couple days. I’m kind of grossed out by just how much I relied on Twitter in that role over the last several years.
