Jeg må ikke støtte på højre fod overhovedet de næste otte uger, og så skal jeg til noget special-genoptræning på Rigshospitalet derefter. Der går nok mange måneder før jeg går normalt igen.

Jeg blev liggende på riget 6 dage mere, mest for at lægerne kunne holde øje med mine infektionstal. De var vist ikke helt stabile, så jeg fik noget opgraderet antibiotika. I løbet af den sidste uge har jeg lært at gå med krykker (også på trapper!) og endda lært at gå på toilettet helt selv 😅
Fysioterapeuten gav mig nogle øvelser at lave tre gange om dagen. Spøjst at det er så stor en udfordring at vippe min ankel et par cm, og rart at jeg hurtigt kan mere. ⌘ Read more

Efter elve dage i ex-fix fjernede læger Marianne og Signe stængerne fra min fod (yessss), og satte tre titaniumsskruer i min talus, for at holde den sammen.

Jeg tror at jeg tager de her skruer med i graven.

I dagene op til sidste operation snakkede jeg ofte med overlægen Marianne, som stod for min behandling.
Hun virker enormt dygtig. Mange ansatte som jeg snakkede med, reagerede sådan: “åh wow skal du opereres af Marianne Lind? Hun er for vild. Super-læge.”
Marianne kaldte min skade “akademisk spændende”, men sagde også helt direkte “det er lidt en lorteskade, du har”.

I de ti dages ventetid skete der ikke så meget.
Jeg havde en del problemer med maven, fordi jeg hele tiden fik morfin. Smerter var slemme og konstante. Mistede evnen til at mærke hvornår jeg skal tisse, så sygeplejersker kom med ultralyds-blære scannere for at måle hvor meget jeg skulle. Fik monteret et kateter (ikke fedt). Følte mig meget svag.

Jeg lå på riget med ex-fix i benet i ti dage, før den næste operation.
I den periode fik jeg to timers trykkammer-behandling hver dag.
Det drejer sig om at man sætter sig i et kammer som de trykksætter til 2.4 atmosfærer, og så trækker jeg vejret i 100% ilt.
Idéen er bare at få en helvedes masse ilt ind i kroppen, for bedre at danne nye blodkar, og til at hjælpe heling.
