A few things are immediate and real in Plato’s cave: The chains binding its inhabitants, chafing against their ankles, the constant pain.
medical nerve growth agents, reused as poison gas - victims grow new neurons everywhere, become unable to move out of pain
a lone sunbeam, scattered by dust, presents an austere beauty, but one only attainable at great pain to the beam - need it suffer for us?
Overexposure may cause painful oversensitivity of your eyes (sometimes permanent), pupils larger than your iris, afterimages in hypercolors.
As Earth’s nervous system connects with theirs, aeons of planetary pain short-circuit their feeble brains. The spasms break their bones.
The honey tastes of time, solitude, endless falling and the searing pain the starflower deals to the comet bee when in close proximity.
@kenkouot I like TypeScript, but the whole bootstrap just to get anything running is real pain
A day of sadness
Today we realized that we have lost our camcorder, and with it, all the memories we had since KM was born: from birth until his last birthday, at least. And the pain we feel can’t be explained. How could we be so stupid?!
Although we have thoughts, accusing ourselves for lots of things… what sense does it make at this point? Everything is gone, and discussing the why’s, what if’s and so on will not bring the tapes back. Things will be done differently on regards of the archiving of fami … ⌘ Read more
Britons, our brothers and sisters
Once again some (insert some lots of bad words here) terrorists have tried to affect the civilized world by detonating bombs and killing innocent people. They’ve cause pain, allright, but their final goal has failed, as it will always do. Britons are not afraid, civilized world is more united because of those dumb (some more bad words here).
We are more united than ever. United Kingdom of England and North Ireland, all our love and support from the other side … ⌘ Read more
Beware!
There is a flu strain going around. I am not sure of how vast its geographic coverage will be, I just know I caught a drop –or a bucket– of it here in Orlando, Central Florida.
Now this sucker is not like any other. At least for me it isn’t. This one blocks your nose and lungs and converts you into a phlegm dispenser machine. It gives you pain in all your joins (joins, not loins!), head and eyes. It will take your appetite away, it will give you flatulence. It will not let you sleep and it will bother you w … ⌘ Read more
Quiet time

I will be back, right after Jeanne has passed. ⌘ Read more
Back to the routinely life
Another weekend has gone by, way faster than I expected. Being a husband, a father and a head of the household have it’s tradeoffs, although it is not that bad, after all. The things I do not like about it? For starters, white hair. A lot, all over my head. There is also the missing hair, quite more concerning than the first. There is also the fat on the abdominal part, the pain on the joins and neck and the morning’s dragon breath. Yes, it has it’s tradeoffs.

Coming back: Happy Thanksgiving!
Howdy all! Finally coming back on track now. Kid still sick but getting better, pain on my back still there, but feeling hopeful on both fronts.
It is the evening before Thanksgiving and a long weekend is ahead. My parents are coming up to visit on Friday, so I guess it is going to be quite busy. I am back, logs shall flow, as they did before. I have a lot to talk about and I certainly need to come here to upload.
For my fellow Americans, enjoy Thanksgiving, b … ⌘ Read more
