We will never know what itâs like to be the person the K-Mart PA systemâs 1994 holiday playlist wants us to be.
Recipe for periodic royalty boosts if youâre a hack: 1) create a song about a particular time of year â preferably a particular date that is not a holiday; 2) create a song about a very specific combination of very common feelings
Wanted to do so much on todays public holiday but actually I only did some house cleaning and was staying on the balcony enjoying the sun while doing internet stuff most of the timeâŚ

It is Christmas day
One of the many things to look forward to each year is, of course, the end of year holidays. Christmas, Festivus, or whatever you call it, the end of December is always a special time. My only complain, and that might be yours too, is that it comes and goes so fast! Kent has finished opening his presents, and somehow it feels âit is all over.â But we waited the whole year for this! He goes to a private, Christian school, and his main complain has always being that he doesnât like to memorize the weekly versicle. I have noticed that this âdislikingâ normally comes after a weekend, holiday, or similar âtime off schoolâ occasion.
I have talked to him, trying to find out if there are other reasons, but havenât ⌠â Read more
Googleâs Doodles
Google is well known for altering its homepage logos to commemorate a special event or Holidays. They have done it since 1999 âat least, that is the earliest documented year.
This year Olympic Games are not an exception. Google Doodle VIII celebrates the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. Below is a loc ⌠â Read more
A moment in time
Not much is happening lately. At least, not much worth of mentioning. Christmas is coming (yes, Christmas, I do not need to be âpoliticallyâ correct by calling it âholidaysâ) and I tend to get a little bit sad just around this time. I know it might sound weird, but I canât help it.
Time is flying by lately and I do not know whether thatâs good or bad. It should be bad all the time, since time is one of the few things that never returns, it canât be rewinded. But while at work, it ⌠â Read more
Mid-Autumn Festival, Mooncake!
It is mooncake holiday again! Taken From Travel in Taiwan Festivals, the following âLegends of the Moonâ:
