I’m seeing exactly this effect in our stuff at work.
And human PR reviewers (in our company) are already completely burned out, because the AI dudes just dump all their shit on us. AI is an amplifier: If you already didn’t care about good code before AI, then you most certainly won’t start caring with AI, so the result is just a massive dumpster fire.
I suppose you can use AI to produce good code, but this takes so much time, effort, and money, you might as well code it yourself.
