@jim@twtxt.net Youβre welcome! π€ We hope you stick around and invite/bring all your friends π
Also we need a pod in CN or whereever you can spin up one π
@prologic@we.loveprivacy.club Sure, Iβd love to do that. Iβm curious about who have done the Chinese translation, most of them are accurate and great, though some need to be discussed, for example:
yarn β> ηΊ± this translation is very strange and confused for Chinese people, yarn is hard to translate-_-||, but itβs the most common word in yarn social, we need a good translation
fork β> ε maybe 转ε is a better translation
on the other hand, iβll try to understand the obstacles of Chinese nickname(maybe some discussion link for that?), thatβs essential for my friends, most of them are not used to English names even on the internet.
@ullarah@txt.quisquiliae.com thanks for your advice, DeepL is cool and really helpful~ look forward to your unembedded elegant method for translation
My current job is mostly about java, so just learn a little go and goi18n and start to modify the active.zh-CN.toml file, hope thatβs the right file to modifyπ€£
